From the moment we all met in Casablanca, to our last day in Marrakech, Morocco was absolutely magic. We rode camels in the Sahara (turns out this is not Jane’s favourite way to travel), drank endless cups of mint tea and we all became firm friends bonded together by exploring this magnificent country. We explored Fez, took lots of photos in the blue city of Chefchaouen, got hot and sweaty in the Hammam, saw the sunrise from a hot air balloon and wandered through the Medina in Marrakech. Of course there was shopping, dancing and laughing and curious conversations with each other and the locals we met on the way. Morocco entranced us all with its stunning landscapes, ancient culture and its quiet determination to be progressive and pragmatic. What an adventure.
